Hellboy's back!

In the world of graphic novels, Hellboy is unique. Behind the sword play, humor, interaction between its characters, and complex battles between good and evil, lies Joseph Campbell's journey of the hero. Hellboy struggles with his identity as do his colleagues Abe and Liz.

High school students often study mythology and folklore. The graphic and prose novels of Hellboy explore myth and it's effect on modern culture.

Check out Hellboy: the animated series and consider including the novels as part of your graphic novels collection.
